Pastors Wallace and Joy Phillips with their three children
|
Pastors Wallace & Joy Phillips have served as Senior Pastors of Carpenter's Shop Church in Ahoskie, North Carolina for fifteen years. CSC is a multi-cultural regional ministry to northeast North Carolina. Wallace and Joy believe "the church rises from the earth" and therefore, should be reflective of the community in which it exists. Together, they have led CSC since 1992 from a handful of twelve to over five hundred today. In addition, they have mothered two other congregations in the region. Wallace and Joy believe that you must be "multi-culturally intentional" in your community. Pastor Wallace says, "Wal-Mart's multi-cultural. McDonald's is multi-cultural. It's time that the church reach beyond its walls, lay aside its traditions, and reach out to the people around them....all the people." CSC is a testimony of what God can do when you purpose to reach your community with the love of Christ; no strings attached. |
